I'd really like

a) a page tree as starting point for the organisation of the site/blog. Attachment of new and flexible content types like post (cf flutter) to one page via that interface and ajax reordering of the page tree. In the most basic version there would be only one page that would should the blog posts or static content, in a more complex setup, different pages would show different content types (like posts or pages), or based on categories or a custom taxonomy. The tools are already in the system, they're just not being used sufficiently.
b) nested ajax sorting for all hierarchical structures

I never really have liked Wordpres 2.7. It just doesn't seem like it is working well with the things I am using it for. There are definitely of a lot of plugins that are not compatible yet. I hope this is all fixed over the next few months. I downgraded after using the new Wordpress.
